In two locations -- Oak Bluffs, MA and Peterborough, NH -- the Mariposa Museum and World Culture Center fosters peace, equity, and human understanding through exhibits and programs that engage the senses, mind, and heart.

In Oak Bluffs on Martha's Vineyard, the Mariposa explores American history and experience through a diverse lens and the creativity of artists, scholars, storytellers, and others who cherish Oak Bluffs' welcoming spirit.

In our flagship space in Peterborough, NH, the Mariposa has for 20 years explored the rich diversity of the world's cultures as well as dynamics of cultures in motion and multiculturalism in the U.S.
